Short for Metabolic Conditioning focusing on increased work capacity, increased cardio vascular and respiratory output. Objective is to do as much work as possible in the shortest time possible. Think training modalities of aggressive, sweaty, heart pounding work that leaves you wondering where all the air went. Great for anybody who wishes to steer clear of any technical/heavy lifting associated with CrossFit. Primary movements are basic, non-technical functional movements performed at high intensity.
